Happy New Year guys!

My job decided to close from Christmas Eve until today ( boo! ) so I took the time to accomplish some car related stuff on my C300.

First up finally got my bottom front fascia wrapped in black vinyl.

Shortly thereafter I replaced my bulbs that were OEM 4300k, with Philips 5000k crisp white bulbs. Also changed the parking bulbs in the headlights to 5000k LED bulbs away from the 3800k yellow-ish wedge bulbs. No pics because it was impossible to photograph the difference on my phone.

Next thing was installed a Sprint Booster that I got from fellow Oppo member !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (thanks again man). I got to see his dad's amazing M5 with its killer TSR exhaust system.

A SprintBooster for those who don't know is basically this little gadget that goes between the throttle pedal and the wiring harness and amplifies the signal to the TCU. Removes throttle lag and immediately made the car more responsive.

Lastly, removed my stock resonator (top picture) and replaced it with an X-Pipe. The result is a throatier, deeper tone on start up and after 3,000 RPM - 6,500 RPM. Looks like this:

Sounds like this (Not my car but skip to 1:45, white car is X Pipe mod):

Overall I am really really happy with how my car feels and sounds, I've got it exactly where I want it.

Also came across some potential Jalops in my neighborhood, just have to track down the owners!

You should get a Kleenex for these boogers :P

Very cool mods! I was going to get a sprint booster, but decided against it even though my pedal delay is f-ing annoying.

Thanks! If you can you should definitely get a Sprint Booster, anyone who says they don't feel a difference is bugging. I was laughing to myself like a giddy little kid the first time I put my foot down.

I read that it just amplifies the signal from the accelerator pedal, so 1/2 throttle is read as 3/4 by the computer, etc, making the top end of your pedal redundant. Plus, I've got some other things that need my attention before I start playing with add-ons again :)

Yeah that's all it does which is fine with me, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've made it to the kick down on my pedal. If you ever do plan on getting any add ons this year I'd do this first, check online to find a used one.

It was going to be a sprint booster or transmission software. I've already got a reflash for the computer which helped a tiny bit, but I'm hesitant because the last time I started spending money on performance parts for a car I wrecked the damn thing.

Can't lie I've definitely become a little lighter footed with the sprint booster, last thing I want to do is smash into something. My GF was already giving me the "You better not be out there trying to show off" speech.

I've gotten that speech before. Actually almost every time my fiance and I are going somewhere and I drive. I can't help that my car has twice the power her hybrid has :/

Lol, I was walking my dog when I saw these two and got hype for some reason. The ultimate jalop combo, only thing that could've made it better was if the Wrx was the 5 door.
